Welcome to Vetted (“Platform,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) an online marketplace connecting pet owners (“Users,” “you”) with third-party sellers (“Sellers”) offering pet products and services. These Terms and Conditions, along with privacy policy or other terms (“Terms”) constitute a binding agreement by and between Vetted First Private Limited and you. By accessing or using the Platform (including the app or website at www.vetted.co.in, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
- Nature of the Platform
- 1.1.Vetted provides an online marketplace where Sellers list pet-related products and services, and Buyers place orders. Vetted processes payments, manages order fulfilment, and coordinates delivery through third-party logistics providers. Vetted does not manufacture, supply, inspect, or control the quality, safety, or suitability of any products or services, which remain the sole responsibility of Sellers.
- 1.2.All products and services are provided exclusively by independent third-party Sellers.
- 1.3.We have no control over, and make no representations or warranties regarding, the quality, safety, suitability, availability, or performance of any products or services.
- User Eligibility and Accounts
- 2.1.You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering contracts to use the Platform.
- 2.2.Creating an account requires accurate information. You are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of your login credentials and all activities under your account.
- 2.3.We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms, fraud, or at our discretion.
- Orders, Payments, and Transactions
- 3.1.Users submit orders via the Platform and Vetted processes payments securely using integrated gateways. Vetted manages fulfilment and delivery via contracted logistics providers. Delivery timelines are estimates only and subject to external factors.
- 3.2.Refunds or returns are processed by Vetted per Seller terms, subject to verification.
- 3.3.All prices, taxes, shipping fees, and payment terms are set by Sellers. We do not guarantee pricing accuracy or refunds.
- 3.4.Payments are processed securely, but disputes must be resolved between User and Seller. We may mediate in limited cases but are not obligated to do so.
- Seller Obligations
- 4.1.Sellers must list accurate product/service details, comply with applicable laws such as FSSAI for pet food, and other animal welfare regulations as applicable from time to time.
- 4.2.We reserve the right to remove listings or Sellers for policy violations.
- User Conduct and Prohibited Activities
- 5.1.You agree not to: misuse the Platform, post false reviews, infringe intellectual property, transmit harmful code, or engage in illegal activities like animal cruelty promotion.
- 5.2.Reviews and ratings must be genuine; fake reviews may lead to account suspension.
- Disclaimers and No Liability for Products/Services
- 6.1.No Quality Guarantee: Vetted has no involvement in product manufacturing, quality control, or service delivery. Products/services may not meet your expectations, and we disclaim all liability for defects, injuries, allergies, or pet health issues arising from them.
- 6.2.As-Is Basis: The Platform and all content are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for purpose, or non-infringement.
- 6.3.We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of pet health, data loss, or economic harm, even if advised of the possibility.
- Limitation of Liability
- 7.1.To the fullest extent permitted by law (including Section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000), our total liability shall not exceed the fees (if any) paid by you to us in the past 12 months.
- 7.2.We are not responsible for Seller actions, User disputes, or third-party sites linked from the Platform.
- Indemnification
- 8.1.You agree to indemnify and hold Vetted, its directors, its affiliates, officers, and employees harmless from claims arising from your use of the Platform, transactions with Sellers, or violations of these Terms.
- Intellectual Property
- 9.1.The Platform’s design, logos, and content are owned by Vetted. You shall not copy, modify, or commercially exploit them without permission.
- 9.2.The names, images and logos identifying Vetted, or any of its associated companies or third parties and their products and services are proprietary marks of Vetted, its associated companies and/or third parties. Nothing contained herein shall be construed as conferring by any means, licence or right under any trade mark, copyright or patent of Vetted, its associated companies or any other third party to You.
- 9.3.All copyright, trademarks and other intellectual property rights in this site (including the design, arrangement and look and feel) and all material or content supplied as part of the site shall remain at all times the property of Vetted or Vetted’s licensors. In accessing the site, or any other sites of Vetted, you agree that you do so only for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not agree to, permit or assist in any way any third party to copy, reproduce, download, post, store (including in any other web site), distribute, transmit, broadcast, commercially exploit or modify in any way the material or content without the prior written permission of an authorised officer the Vetted

If you decide to visit any linked site, you do so at your own risk and it is your responsibility to take all protective measures to guard against viruses or other destructive elements. Vetted does not endorse and is not responsible or liable for any content, advertising, products, services or information on or available from third party websites or material (including payment for and delivery of such products or services). Vetted is not responsible for any damage, loss or offence caused by or, in connection with, any content, advertising, products, services or information available on such websites or material. Any terms, conditions, warranties or representations associated with such dealings are solely between you and the relevant provider of the service.

- 11.1.We may terminate or suspend access at any time for cause or convenience. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ends immediately.

- 12.1.These Terms are governed by the laws of India, with exclusive jurisdiction in the courts of Bangalore, Karnataka.
